Job Description - Special Procedure Tech at Corewell Health
Corewell Health is seeking a Special Procedure Tech to join our team. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will provide direct care and support to patients undergoing heart and/or vascular procedures, assisting physicians and ensuring quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide intra-procedural technical support and quality patient-centered care.
- Perform IV starts, monitor hemodynamics, operate equipment, and document procedures.
- Effectively communicate with team members, physicians, and patients.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and participate in On Call duties as required.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology or graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
- Minimum 1 year of EP, Cath Lab, or IR experience.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and applicable RT certifications.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
