Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will provide direct care and support for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, working closely with physicians to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. This role involves monitoring patients during procedures, performing IV starts, operating equipment, documenting procedures, and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients undergoing invasive procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform IV starts, hemodynamic monitoring, and vascular access site management.
- Operate and maintain technical equipment ensuring quality and safety.
- Participate in on-call schedule as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography or cardiovascular technologist program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills.
